Current Exhibitions

Our current exhibits showcase the powerful synergy between art and science, demonstrating how these collaborations can significantly enhance scientific literacy and communication. By blending artistic expression with scientific concepts, our exhibits create a unique platform for visitors to engage with complex ideas in an accessible and visually captivating manner. This interdisciplinary approach not only fosters a deeper understanding of environmental issues but also sparks curiosity and encourages critical thinking among diverse audiences.

Moreover, these art-science collaborations serve as catalysts for innovation in scientific inquiry and outreach. By presenting scientific data and concepts through artistic mediums, we create opportunities for serendipitous discoveries and new perspectives that can lead to groundbreaking research directions. Our exhibits also play a crucial role in bridging the gap between scientific communities and the public, facilitating meaningful dialogues and inspiring support for scientific endeavors.

Future Art & Science Collaborations

The Tree-Ring Laboratory on the University of Arizona campus provides an unique exhibit opportunity for artists to interact with the thousands of visitors and school groups who visit this education hub.

The Exhibit Hall on the first floor of the Bryant Bannister Tree-Ring Building has a distinctive tier-floor layout, curved glass exterior wall (allowing artwork to be visible from the outside of the building), and a soaring feature wall that combine to provide different options for showcasing artistic works.

We invite artists to collaborate with us in this exciting endeavor, bringing their creativity to our rotating art gallery and helping to bridge the gap between science and art.  Contact Dr. Pamela Pelletier for more information.

Additionally, we encourage community members to support our mission by donating to sustain our exhibits and expand our outreach efforts. Together, we can amplify the impact of art-science collaborations, inspire future generations, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the environment through creative expression.
