Museum Day

University of Arizona Museum Day returns on Saturday, April 4, 2026. bringing together fifteen museums and collections across the University of Arizona for a campus-wide celebration of curiosity and discovery. This family-friendly event invites visitors to explore a rich spectrum of arts, humanities, and science experiences—from ancient artifacts and cultural exhibits to contemporary art and natural history. The Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research will be open from 10 AM–2 PM.
At the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research, guests can join short 20 minute tours where you'll get a chance to talk with a scientist. Visitors can also experience our newest exhibits, Prometheus and Remembered Light, and enjoy hands-on activities in our children’s areas. Consider joining us for our 30 minute special research talks in Bannister Room 110:
- 11:30AM: Artist Jacinda Russell presents "Remembered Light"
- 1PM: Dr. Agata Buchwal present "Artic Shrubs"
