In our first Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research (LTRR) Outreach Program Newsletter, we’re excited to update you on some of our recent activities and new programs, as well as invite you to take part in our 2024 Holiday Giving Campaign, running through December 31, 2024!
Launched in April 2023 launch, the Malcolm Hughes Endowment for Outreach Endowment will support an undergraduate student Outreach Intern in the spring 2025 semester. As the fund grows, our goal is to fund additional Outreach graduate student interns and staff, and new Outreach programs.
This newsletter showcasing our ongoing efforts to deepen public understanding of dendrochronology by connecting with diverse audiences. This edition features a few of LTRR's fall semester outreach activities and introduces Donna Mac, one of our six dedicated volunteer docents. We’re also actively recruiting new docents.
